What Is The Best Whey Protein Supplement For Muscle Definition?
UNFLAVORED 100% pure whey protein. 1 gram per pound, Per day. I usually just take 50 grams before working out, and 50 after. Make sure you do it 40 minutes before and 40 minutes after. Cuz thats your bodys optimum absorption for protein for workouts. Sidenote: I buy the GNC Brand Whey Protein. Make sure you buy it unflavored. But you gotta bust your *** at weight lifting, whey protein is not a magic powder. It just helps you reach your goal. And it does HELP alot. Cuz protein the muscles food for building, no protein, no gain. To get the proper amount of protein for your muscles to grow you need to gorge so much food. It’s not possible to get that much protein from eating. But do also eat healthy foods. That have protein. And eat complex carbs, such as bread, pasta rice, potatos. Whey protein is the best for building. Also, do squats, doing squats increases testosterone production, and human growth hormone, hence you build more muscle. Also drink chromium, SAFE AMOUNT 200MCG per day. it promotes fat burning, and muscle growht. Take zinc, cuz it increases testosterone. And DO NOT over do it on these minerals because they are metals, and if you take too much u can have adverse reactions, especially with chromium. Estrogen really slows down the body building process. Drink Calcium D-glucarate, and DIM. To block estrogen, and balance out testosterone to estrogen levels.
A nice big hunk of cheese.
Seriously though, protein supplements are worthless. Not only does your body not need much extra protein when lifting (even if you are doing some pretty heavy steroids), these are poor quality sources of protein. Most people are actually allergic to them. They get diahrea, upset stomach, break out in hives etc. when they consume them. Does that sound like it’s doing your body good?
The best sources of protein are high in Omega 3 fats. That’s basically fish. You want to “supplement your protein” after a workout? Grab a can of no oil added tuna fish. Tastes good, high in Omega 3, low in calories and is a superior source of protein.
And just to add insult to injury, it’s cheap too.
Personally, i like Optimum Nutrition protein products. Reasonable prices, taste good, plenty of flavors, 24 grams per serving but you can choose to take more or less, and overall a good protein supplement.
Well, the thing is, you won’t get muscle definition from protein powders. You get it from diet. But to answer your question, I would say any that doesn’t have a lot of carbs.
Whey protein is to supplement your diet in case your not getting enough. Muscle definition is enhanced through fat loss.
Try Leuter Pills along with a whey supplement, can get them at any health food store.
