Does Protein Supplements Like Whey Protein Trigger Acne?

Protein by itself does not trigger acne. Some of the supplements out there may have other additives that can though, like sugar, extra fats or even hormone mimicking soy additives. Also, if you are working out more often you may be sweating more – or having your hands in contact with workout equipment, which can be filthy! Be sure after working out you shower – or at least wash your hands and face with a good mild soap like dove, neutrogena or an acne soap like Clearasil.
Be sure you are using a high quality, chemical free whey protein!

I am taking like 250 grams a day in 5 protein shakes, I do have some zits whenever but i had them before the proteins too. Use proactiv or one of the other competing products, but the quantity has to be in excess to work, that is how it worked for me.

No, unless drinking milk happens to trigger acne in you.
