When you’re trying to concieve 400mcg of Folic Acid is required and then this needs to double after you actually concieve. Taking too much of folic will not harm you but the second option seems more suitable.
Mcg and ug are the same thing. They are 1000th of a Milligram. I.e. 1mg = 1000mcg or ug

I would go with the prenatal vitamin that you only have to take once a day. The supplements are strong but not too strong, you only have to do it once a day, and even though I am like you and don’t really know what the little letters mean, I would just opt for the first one. To me you are trying to concieve (I assume, because you are shopping for prenatal vitamins instead of them being prescribed to you), you are gonna have enough hassle and bother with all the other fertility tracking and what not, make it a little less complicated on yourself and opt for the one a day. Good luck hope this helps.
