Do Brain Supplements Interfere With Ritalin. Example: Vitamin B, Fish Oil, L-theanine, Ginkoba. Site Reference?

I am interested in supplementing my childs meds with brain enhancing supplements but am affraid they may interfere with each other. Is there a danger in mixing these? Which supplements might be a problem. The supplements we are interested in are: Vitamin B3, B12, B6, Fish Oil, DHA & EPA, Vitamin C, Ginkoba, and L-Theanine.

    Brain supplements? WTH?
Judging by your question, I think you’re probably giving your child a lot of vitamins and other junk. I think that’s bad parenting as it can cause liver damage and other terrible things. As Arnold would say, Stop it! Just feed him veggies, and make sure he’s eating all the food groups. Lay off the junk food, and your child should grow up fine. Just make sure he actually goes outside sometimes.

i would check with a doctor or pharmacist to check for drug interactions first. Being a child he or she has a more sensitive way of supplements and what might be ok or natural for an adult to take it may make a child sick. Call a pharmacy, pharmacists are really good about knowing what mixes with what. They went to school for it.
    Good Luck and God Bless
